I previously reviewed the Technaxx 21W foldable solar charging case, and at IFA 2023, they announced a new intriguing product.
The Technaxx Solar Table Power Plant is basically a 410W solar panel mounted onto a table that can have the panel angled upwards by 20°/30°/35° when not in use as a table.
The table includes a pre-assembled micro-inverter with 300W output power, which I assume is because you are unlikely to draw much over 300W from a 400W panel.
I am not sure how much demand there would be for a product like this. Still, it is certainly something I’d find useful as I mainly use my portable power stations at home. This table design is more attractive than my current solution of hanging four flexible panels down the side of my garage.
At €830, it also works out cheaper than the EcoFlow 400W Solar Panel.
At this year's IFA 2023 event in Berlin, Technaxx pulls back the curtain on a ground-breaking solar table power plant. For those eager to see this technological marvel, you can find Technaxx at Hall 4.2, Stand 106.
This isn't just another dining table; it's a practical power plant that accommodates up to eight diners. When not hosting your outdoor feasts, the table serves as a solar power generator, similar to balcony power plants. The table's surface is capable of producing an impressive peak output of 410 watts of solar electricity.
Ideal for balconies, terraces, and gardens, the table’s solar module surface can be adjusted to angles of 20, 30, or 35 degrees post-meal for optimal solar energy harvest.
The solar table comes with a pre-assembled micro inverter boasting an output of up to 300 watts. It conveniently converts the generated solar power into AC, which can be effortlessly plugged into a household socket via a Schuko plug. What's even better is that there's no need for specialised installation or special approval.
The solar table surface measures 173 x 114 x 4 cm, while the frame is 125 cm long, 103 cm wide, and 80 cm high. Weighing in at 32.5 kilograms, the table is also user-friendly when it comes to installation. It arrives partially pre-assembled, with only the table legs needing to be affixed to the frame.
